McCarthy Homes as a Team 

As someone who hasn’t built their own house but has had many houses built around me over the years, I have always dreaded the first signs of builders moving in as it means months of builders yelling across the street at each other, cars and truck left running outside my house, rubbish everywhere and loud radio music blaring all day. When you work from home it’s enough to make you move out until someone else’s house is built.

So it has been such a pleasant surprise to have McCarthy Homes build in my street. Your considerate policies to neighbours regarding no music, a clean site and general all-round courtesy have made what can’t help be a noisy operation as minimal an impact on the surroundings as possible. Your builders represent you at all times in a fantastic manner and demonstrate to me you are a company of character. I wouldn’t hesitate in placing you at the top of the queue to build my house in part due to this responsible policy.

As a Project Supervisor within the building industry myself I found McCarthy Homes to be excellent both in the range of homes and layout options, including numerous McCarthy standard items which were costly extras with other builders. From the sales team to the Marketing and Construction Teams I found them both helpful and informative enabling the transition from the design stages through to the building stage to run smoothly and as stress free as possible.

The house upon commencement flowed through without any pauses in construciton until completion, indeed every weekend during our visits we were continually surprised at how far the house had progressed. I have had an umber of friends and family stay with us at our new home and they have all commented on the quality of the house particularly the fixtures and fittings.

We are so happy we built with McCarthy Homes. This is our fifth home we've built over the years and this one has been hassle free. Once the plans came out from council, our Site Supervisor was introduced to us and we had a wonderful relationship in the building process. We were kept appraised each step of the way and the time frames he offered were met. At our six month maintenance, there were only a few minor items to be addressed and they were attended to without fuss. The quality of the workmanship has been great - we havent even had cracks in the plaster cornices! If I was to consider building again, I would certianly look at what McCarthys can do for me.

I would like to thank you for the swift attention to my request for McCarthy Homes to have a look at a concern I had over water overflowing from the gutters during heavy downpours. Our house was completed approximately five years ago and as the water only came into the covered outdoor area during very heavy rain we did not contact you until it actually entered the bedroom.

I am really appreciative that after five years I came and asked for you assistance and within a week you and your team of professionals came to assess my concerns and within another week had modified sections of the guttering to resolve the issue.

Dear all at McCarthy Homes

We are just sending a letter of thanks to the whole team involced in the building of our house at Redland Bay. We have built with you before and were extremely happy but thie build was evern better, their was always someone onsite so that the build was constantly moving on in its stages, any concerns or needs were met by Veronica and dealt with promptly and professionally. The tradies were a fabulous bunch of guys with great work ethics. My needs and wants from a design point of view were met in the intial stages wto give me the home that suited my individual needs and I generally feel that it has been a pleasure to deal with you again as a company. Right from the start we enjoyed working with Chris on our design getting the home that we wanted I( did 'tweak' it a bit' and change a few things about but haave ended up with a great floor plan. Thank you for such a lovely expeirence and we look forward to dealing with you all in the future (if hubby ever lets me build again)
